James Barrett is a composer, producer and conductor of orchestral music for film, TV, commercials and classical concert works, whose music has been performed and broadcast to acclaim, both in the UK and internationally.
His extensive career has seen him work with a wide range of world-renowned musicians, film-makers and artists, including Sir David Attenborough; the BBC; Aardman Animations for the BAFTA award-nominated Creature Comforts; National Geographic; Discovery channel; PBS; Terra Mater; The Mill London; and many more.
In the classical world, he has been commissioned to compose and score numerous concert works for the likes of Sir Roger Norrington CBE; Dame Evelyn Glennie CH DBE; Grammy and Classical Brit Award-winner Alison Balsom OBE; and Wells Cathedral Choir.
